2016 H.O.G.® Rallies Tennessee State HOG Rally
Join us in Memphis Tennessee - Home of the Blues and the Birthplace of Rock'n'Roll!
The 2016 TN State HOG Rally will be headquartered on the Mississippi River and will include themed rides each day through four states. There will also be discounted admissions to the Rock and Soul Museum, the Blues Museum, STAX Recording Studio, SUN Records and the Gibson Guitar Factory.
Tuesday will follow the Blues Trail to Clarksdale MS and will feature a $10,000 Blues Trail Poker Run finishing at Gold Strike Casino where five prizes of $2000 free play will be awarded. There will also be a HOG member slot tournament at the opening ceremonies.
Wednesday will be "Elvis" day with a ride to Tupelo, MS to visit Elvis' birthplace as well as the largest car museum east of the Mississippi. Then it will be back to Memphis and Graceland where dinner will be served at the Elvis Automobile Museum. A unique opportunity will be taking portrait photographs of pre-registered rally attendees and their motorcycle at the front steps of the Graceland residence. (This is limited to the first 600 registrants who select this optional activity). Then it is on to Beale Street for the world-famous Bike Night on Beale.
Thursday will feature a ride to Tuscumbia Alabama for lunch at the Rattlesnake Saloon. This famous destination is in a large cave built into the side of a cliff. There will also be a ride through scenic Crowley's Ridge in Arkansas to the boyhood home of Johnny Cash. That evening will feature a reception in West Memphis Arkansas at Southland Greyhound Park.
Friday is a Civil War theme with a visit to Shiloh National Battlefield where rangers will be on hand to guide the ride and explain unique aspects of the famous three day battle. That evening will be a welcome reception at Bumpus H-D of Memphis.
Friday and Saturday we will host the H-D Demo Fleet of 2016 models at Mud Island River Park for self-guided rides.
Saturday we will visit the new BassPro at the Pyramid to view their indoor cypress swamp, then HOGS vs PIGS on Mud Island on the Mississippi River. Then a half-day ride through Shelby Forest to the historic general store. There will also be an all-day ride to Trimble TN to visit Michael Ballard's Full Throttle Saloonshine Car Show. Saturday night will conclude with closing ceremonies and a dance party at the Cook Convention Center.
